The Enigmatic Rice Market of Edo

First up, an old ukiyo-e print of a rice market in Edo. Half the fun of these is you can never quite tell who's buying and who's selling, everyone's just standing around in gorgeous robes doing business.

Jump forward a few centuries, and sideways to Tel Aviv, for a shot from the Kusama retrospective at the museum there. Been meaning to go back through that whole batch of photos for a while now.
